Ridgeway Energy acquired the Bantadje licence in 2007. The licence is situated in North province of Cameroon where the climate is semi arid. The area has been previously explored by the Agency's as the Commissariat à l'Énergie Atomique (CEA, 1950 -- 1980) and Bureau de recherches géologiques et minières (BRGM, 1969-1970) as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA, 1970 - 1975) and deemed prospective for the formation of Uranium deposits. The license target two BRGM occurrences of primarily granite-hosted uranium as well as secondary-hosted deposits.
